A SPECIAL WIN FOR VERSTAPPEN IN MONTREAL

Max Verstappen is the winner of the Canadian Grand Prix, marking his 60th Jubilee Victory in Formula 1. This is his third consecutive victory at this circuit.

The race started with very wet asphalt, we had a period of light rain, but finished on slick tires. Lando Norris and George Russell completed the podium.

Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz Jr. and Charles Leclerc, as well as Sergio Perez did not finish the race and were left empty-handed.

The Canadian Grand Prix was interesting to watch and any of the three drivers on the podium could have easily finished on the top step. However, Max Verstappen showing his extra qualities took Red Bull to their 119th Victory.
George Russell, who started from pole position, took the lead after the first corner as the race took place on a very wet track. However, as the asphalt dried, Lando Norris began to "fly" and seemed to be in position to score his second victory.

But the safety car, or rather, McLaren's poor strategy, meant "handing over" the lead to Verstappen and, from there, the Dutchman dominated the race.

Lando Norris had his chance to prove himself after two restarts of the race, but Max did not succumb to the pressure and in the last races, the unruly RB20, to reach the jubilee victory.
Lando Norris had to settle for second place, with the Mercedes AMG of George stuck right behind him in the final laps of race.

Lewis Hamilton was 4th, and Oscar Piastri eventually had to settle for fifth place. The young Australian needs to improve his handling of the Pirelli tyres.

Aston Martin returns to a points-scoring standings with Fernando Alonso in sixth and a race ruined by his poor pit stop.

Lance Stroll, Daniel Ricciardo and the Alpine drivers completed the Top 10, in a race with a number of incidents and unplaced drivers.

Max Verstappen is currently the best driver in Formula 1. His three consecutive titles are good proof of that, but what he did today in changing weather conditions and in a period when his car was not looking its best is even more impressive.
In the race for the Canadian Grand Prix, it became clear again: you always have to take into account the "Verstappen factor". Of course, Red Bull remains strong strategically, which brings them results.

Two details from today's race indicate the moment the Austrians are going through: the first, that Sergio Perez was nowhere near the points classification, the second, Max's small touch with the wall of champions towards the end of the race, meaning the Dutchman drove the RB20 to the limit of his possibilities.

But in any case, we are talking about another Victory for Verstappen. Very wet track, wet, almost dry, totally dry, and Max wins again.

In the classification of drivers, he again has a pretty good gap over Charles Leclerc, who did not finish the race today. In the constructors' championship, instead of reducing the gap, Red Bull doubled the lead to Ferrari, whose drivers could not finish the race.
