SAUBER CONFIRMED NEW 2024 NAME

As announced, right on the first day of the new year, Sauber confirmed the new name of the team.

Alfa Romeo is leaving Formula 1, and in its place as the main sponsor for 2024 and 2025 comes STAKE, a betting, entertainment and lifestyle brand.

The main sponsor title carries exclusive naming rights to the team, which will now be named Stake F1 Team. This new identity will be present for the next two seasons, before being completely bought out and becoming an Audi from 2026.

The team's social media will be tagged @stakef1team, reflecting the team's new branding.

Founded in 2017 by a group of entrepreneurs from the technology and betting industries, Stake has since established itself as a leading presence in the world of sports and entertainment.

Stake's involvement in the world of Formula 1 further strengthens the brand's diverse list of partners, which also includes the likes of Canadian superstar Drake, Everton Football Club, UFC, and many others.
