MAMA MIA, GRANDE MAX, GRANDE RB20

Max Verstappen started the 2024 season as he finished last year, with a win.

The Dutchman dominated the Bahrain Grand Prix from start to finish and already has 55 wins in the Formula 1 championship.

Sergio Perez moved up to second and sealed the 1-2 for Red Bull, while Carlos Sainz Jr. also put in a great performance to climb onto the final step of the podium.
No surprises. Max Verstappen got off to a good start, breaking out in front of everyone and leading all laps of the race, also setting the fastest lap. With that, he secured a new Grand Slam.

The three-time champion and Red Bull are still unable to find a rival up to the task.

Yesterday there was a bit more equality, but today we are back to reality. Sergio Perez confirmed the excellent racing pace of the team with a good comeback and second place.

For us F1 fans, the race was made more interesting to watch by Carlos Sainz Jr. with his Ferrari SF-24.

The Spaniard had an impressive pace and not only overtook Charles Leclerc twice, George Russell once on the track, but also finished less than three seconds behind Perez.
Charles Leclerc was fourth, 14 seconds behind Carlos, after overtaking George Russell in the final stretch of the race, and Lando Norris held off Lewis Hamilton and Oscar Piastre to take sixth.

Aston Martin, for its part, apparently has the fifth car on the grid. Fernando Alonso was overtaken by McLarens and Lewis Hamilton shortly after the start and had to settle for ninth place, as he had predicted before the race.

Lance Stroll had an incident with Nico Hulkenberg at the start of the race, which dropped him to last place, but made good progress through the grid, taking the final point for tenth place.
