ALONE ON THE THRONE: TEN IN A ROW FOR FLYING DUTCH

Max Verstappen was first driver to cross the finish line at the Italian Grand Prix, taking a record-breaking 10-th Win in a row, his 47th in Formula 1.

The Dutchman had to "sweat" a little more to overtake Carlos Sainz Jr., but again the tenderness of the RB19 to the Pirelli tires prevailed.

The Spaniard, in a very difficult race for him, managed to keep his position on the podium, and his teammate did not make it any easier for him in that task.
The start of Carlos Sainz Jr. was good and he managed to turn pole position into a lead after the first corner, which he managed to maintain until the end of the 15th lap. From that moment Max Verstappen, the defending champion, had his hands free on his tenth consecutive victory.

Like the Spaniard, Sergio Perez had a hard race and had problems overtaking the Ferrari cars. But first he had to face Merecdes AMG of George Russell and then the drivers of the Maranello team.

In the end, the Mexican managed to climb to the second place, ahead of Carlos Sainz Jr., who got a chance to climb on the podium in front of the home fans.

George Russell is fifth and Lewis Hamilton sixth. Both had five-second penalties but managed to not let it affect their placings. They created a sufficient advantage over the drivers behind them, but they had no chances to progress towards the podium.

Alex Albon secured the seventh place, ahead of Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso who did not have the speed for anything more in today's race, and the last point was won by Valtteri Bottas with the Alfa Romeo car.
