MAX VERSTAPPEN SUPERB IN ALL WEATHER CONDITION

Max Verstappen dominated the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix from start to finish, taking his 39th Formula 1 victory.

The Dutchman coped well with the pressure of the different weather conditions on the track and beat Fernando Alonso, who didn't have the slightest chance to hope for anything more than second place.

A great race by Esteban Ocon, which culminated in his placing on the podium. As we mentioned, here in Monte Carlo the race is won on Saturday, and the rain came too late to make it more intriguing.
Max Verstappen was confident from the start, while Fernando Alonso could not follow his pace, which was later worsened by putting dry tires, when everyone was already switching to the green intermediate.

The Spaniard had to make another pit-stop in the very next lap, when Max Verstappen also pitted for Pirelli's intermediate tyres.

Aston Martin explained that they took a risk because they had nothing to lose, but we will never know what the logic was. At least F1 teams have accurate weather radars or maybe not?!?
In the end, the defending champion took another victory and increased his advantage over Sergio Perez by a 25 points, and already has a significant advantage in the drivers`s classification.

Fernando Alonso was second, and Esteban Ocon was on the podium after his excellent race.

The Mercedes AMG drivers took advantage of the rain and "chaos" at Ferrari to sneak into the top 5, ahead of Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly, Carlos Sainz Jr.

McLaren drivers, Lando Norris ahead of Oscar Piastre, rounded out the points standings for today's race.
