Lewis Hamilton very fast on Hungaroring !!!
Lewis Hamilton took pole position for the Hungarian Grand Prix with a dominant display at the Hungaroring.
Hamilton was quickest in both of the first two qualifying sessions and even though his first run was good enough for pole position, he lowered the mark with his final lap to a 1:20.953 to secure pole by over 0.4s. Romain Grosjean made the most of the hot conditions, to take second place for Lotus and his first front-row start in Formula 1. It's also the first time Lotus has started from the top two positions this season and opens up the opportunity for its first win of 2012.Sebastian Vettel was third to show that he is still competitive despite Red Bull having to change its engine maps, but his team-mate Mark Webber was less successful as he starts down in 11th place. Jenson Button couldn't match Hamilton's pace but still starts a competitive fourth ahead of Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso. Felipe Massa starts seventh ahead of the two Williams, both in the top ten for the first time this season, and Nico Hulkenberg.
