2009 SINGAPORE GP: VETTEL TOPS FP2

Sebastian Vettel, Marina Bay 2009

Sebastian Vettel ends the first day of action in Singapore as the fastest driver, with a lap fo 1m48.650s. Red Bull and Renault have been consistently quick today during the first two practice sessions at Marina Bay, but are they quicker than the McLaren or Brawn cars?

The true performance of the field is of course skewed slightly thanks to the varying programmes that the teams were running - especially in the late session, where it was really interesting to see who was running short or long, or with the harder or softer tyre choice. One thing we can be reasonably sure of is that it is between Red Bull, Brawn, McLaren and Alonso's Renault so far.
