BMW Continue to Develop This Year Car

.
The BMW is not considering the possibility of abandoning the development of 2009 car, said technical director Willy Rampf. It emerged that the McLaren-Mercedes is considering such a move to follow the example of Honda, which took a similar decision last year, led construsting unbeatable Brawn GP for this year.

BMW wanted to fight for the title this season, but is found only in eighth place in the world manufacturers. But when asked if the season of 2009 should be left aside to focus on the 2010 Rampf said: "Currently we are not thinking about or discussing this scenario either. Ok, the next year the car will be slightly different, we have carried more fuel and therefore a concept of the car will be little different, but given that the regulation does not change the aerodynamics next year what we learn this year you can use the next year, " told the GP Week. "It is not easy to give up the project this year to focus on next year. Not any guarantee that this will work, "added Rampf.
