In BMW-Sauber are determined to make further progress after the aerodynamic changes made at the recent Spanish Grand Prix. The German team has not yet played a role as leader in 2009, but the boss Mario Theissen has insisted that in Barcelona there were signs of recovery after the terrible situation of the first four races. The double-deck diffuser which has not been part of the package for Spain, will be introduced in their cars from the Grand Prix of Turkey.
"To be honest, I look forward to Istanbul," said Nick Heidfeld, who celebrated his birthday by taking two points in Spain. "In Turkey we will have new package of aerodynamic parts. I hope that we will have many points in future, "added the German.
Also in Istanbul BMW plans to reintroduce the KERS, system which they didn`t used in Spain and they didn`t plan to use it and at the weekend in Monaco. From Turkey they will use KERS completly redesigned, nothing similar as old one.
