Fernando Alonso has revealed his desire to take part in the 24 hours of Le Mans, the Oldest Race known to the world. However, the Spanish denied that Le Mans is his "plan B" if they fail to find suitable accommodation for next year in F1. "I want to compete in more than a race all year," said the Renault driver. "I'm only 27 years old and I won the F1 world twice, and then there are other categories to win," added Alonso.
