FERRARI: MARMORINI WILL REPLACE SIMON

The Ferrari team has announced that Luca Marmorini will replace Gilles Simon as head of the engine and electronics department. Marmorini returns to Ferrari after having worked for Toyota for ten years. The 48-year-old Italian left the Japanese squad in January this year.

He had worked for Ferrari in the 1990s.

"Ferrari wishes to thank Gilles Simon for the important contribution he made during his time with the Gestione Sportiva, first, from 1994 to 2006 as head of Engine Design and then as head of the whole Engine Department," the team said in a statement.

"During that time, the V10 and V8 engines built at Maranello won six Drivers' World
