While the Mercedes is rethinking its commitment to F1, which can`t be said for BMW, has insisted the head of the sporting management of the Germans Mario Theissen. However, like the Mercedes, BMW also makes a regular review of the validity of his participation in the F1.
"The F1 (for BMW) is useful," Theissen said for the German channel RTL. "Before the start of the season, entire project had been reviewed and the financial situation was part of the analysis. But we need long-term success, "he explained.
For now, the title of this year seems far away. BMW has scored only 4 points in the championship in the first four races. Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld came in the last two positions in Bahrain, and hope in the planned upgrades to Spain to reverse the situation.
